Types of oil storage tanks we stock:
AID Fuels are on hand to help you select an appropriate heating oil storage tank for your property.
Tanks are made of plastic or steel. We stock plastic oil storage tanks including:
Single skinned oil tanks - A single layer of plastic, which is cheaper than bunded tanks however, more susceptible to oil leaks.
Bunded oil tanks - A single skin inner tank within an outer protective tank, that controls potential oil leaks. Features lockable lids offering protection against theft.
We advise the use of a bunded tank where possible for added protection. This bund is an external protective layer that can hold 110% of the inner tank, which can help prevent oil leaks in the event of damage or an overfill.
